La Roche Posay water
Recognised as being of public utility by the French government in 1869, La Roche-Posay became the first spa in Europe entirely dedicated to dermatological ailments. More than 8,000 people come each year for the healing properties of the waters.
The waters are a result of slow filtering through chalk beds. The hot springs at La Roche-Posay percolate from a source at a depth of 30 to 80 meters
